The Good Coffee Project tote bag grew out of a shared love for coffee, cats, sustainability, and local creative practice. It sits within a collaborative space where illustration, community, and making come together.

The illustration is created as a three-colour work and translated onto cotton canvas, extending a simple visual idea into an everyday object. It moves from image to use — carried through routines, errands, and small daily rituals.

The bags are produced locally in Newtown by The Social Outfit, a social enterprise supporting employment and training for people from refugee and new migrant communities. Through this process, the object becomes more than merchandise — it holds multiple layers of making, exchange, and care.

Printed by Ssweatshop in Marrickville, the work exists across illustration, print, and textile, connecting local creative networks through a shared process of production.
