Suitcase

Medium:

Conceptual art /
Digital illustration

Suitcase is a conceptual portfolio project built around the idea of travel as both movement and personal growth.

Taking the form of a suitcase, the work explores how creative identity evolves through new environments, experiences, and encounters. The outer box is designed to resemble a real suitcase, using a printed image of a vintage case, creating a familiar and recognisable object that invites interaction.

Inside, the contents unfold in layers. The first reveals a collection of illustrated everyday items — objects typically carried while travelling — forming a visual entry point into the idea of departure. As these layers are opened, the work transitions into a more structured system: a portfolio book accompanied by a metro-style map that organises and navigates the content within. A ticket, designed as a business card, can be taken away, extending the journey beyond the object itself.

Moving between object, illustration, and graphic system, Suitcase treats the portfolio not just as a collection of work, but as an experience — one that reflects exploration, curiosity, and the process of becoming through movement.
